Cool Science Fair Projects
There are many cool science fair projects out there and it is important that a child’s science fair project be fun for them, or they are going to lose interest in it and perhaps not be too interested in doing science fair projects in the future. You have to make sure they choose a topic that interests them. Kids generally enjoy projects involving animals, volcanoes, or astronomy; basically something fun. Not too many young kids will be too interested in something like plant growth, though some might be. I recommend these fun science projects kits as a fast, simple way to get started on your science experiment.
One cool science fair project is to have a mouse run through a maze. This is exciting for pretty much any kid, especially the ones that do not have any pets at home. Children really seem fascinated by animals and enjoy watching them and interacting with them. All you need for this project is a mouse, a homemade or store bought maze and a timer. You will also need a box or something to keep the mouse in temporarily. Next, you set the mouse at the beginning of the maze and start the timer. The kids will have fun watching the mouse make its way through the maze. Stop the timer when the mouse gets to the end of the maze and record how long it took him. You can do it a few times to get his best time, or to calculate an average.
