Science Project Kits
Science project kits are great for the projects you want to get done quickly and easily. You shouldn’t discount the free and low cost sources out there. In fact, buying materials and using the instructions from free sources is just as valuable. It gives kids a real sense of experimentation.
There are many free science fair projects available online or in science books. Easy science projects can be found for all ages, from preschool to high school. You can find kits for all types of science experiments, such as biology, chemistry, environmental science, and earth science fair projects. Easy science projects such as building an erupting volcano can at times be the most fun.
What science kits should I choose?
The first step to choosing science kits is to decide the type of science you are most interested in. Chemistry kits tend to provide an interesting science demonstration if you are presenting it to a class.
For the budding crime scene investigators, there are even kits that collect fingerprints and analyze DNA.
Our resident science guys Ryan and Justin are partial to magnetic kits and those that when wired correctly, light a light bulb. It can even make a helicopter lift off the launching pad.
Not to be overlooked, are the just plain “yucky” science kits. These can include building slime, stink bombs, itching powder, and many others.
